CURRENT NEWS
Congregational Budget Vote
Church members will vote on the proposed 2026–2027 NCC budget on August 1 and 2. Ballots will be available in the lobby before and after the Saturday evening service. Following the Sunday service on August 2, there will be a congregational meeting to review the church's financial results from the past year and present the proposed 2026–2027 budget before members cast their votes. A two-page summary of these results and the proposed budget are available at the welcome desk in the church lobby. Details of the 2026-2027 budget can be viewed via here.
Picnic and Praise Starts Next Friday, August 7
Pack a picnic and join us next Friday evening as we kick off our Picnic and Praise nights! Bring your dinner, gather on the church lawn, and enjoy an evening of food, fellowship, and worship together. We look forward to seeing you there! Friday nights in August, 5:30-7:00pm.
Donuts with Dad - Trick Your Ride
Saturday, August 8, 9:00 am
Dads, bring your kids to this fun event. Help your kids in creating/picking their coolest looking toy vehicle or decorating their bike for a cool ride. An object-lesson devotion time will be included that you will be able to share with your kid(s). While you are there, you can also check out the cool cars as part of the Cars and Coffee classic car event.
Calling all kid car customizers! Bring your favorite toy cars and bikes to the ultimate ride makeover event, happening right alongside the classic cars at Cars and Coffee. It's time to trick out your ride and show the world what you've got!
What's happening:
Toy Car Customization Showcase – Roll in with your most tricked-out toy cars and trucks. Whether you've souped them up with custom paint, cool stickers, or just love how they look stock, bring your ride to show off to fellow car fanatics.
Bike Bling Contest – Transform your bike into a showstopper! Deck it out with streamers, spoke beads, chalk art, lights, or anything that makes it pop. The wilder the upgrade, the better — let's see your imagination in overdrive.
Need for Speed Race Tracks – Head over to the race tracks built for rides of every size, from pocket-sized hot rods to bigger cruisers. Rev up, line up, and race to the finish line!
Every rider drives home a winner – Every kid who participates gets a gift just for showing up and showing off their ride.

Women’s Brunch
Join us as we kick off the ministry year with a brunch on August 29 from 9am-11am. Come to enjoy fellowship, worship, a fun breakfast bar, and testimonies about the unshakable hope we have in Christ! Don't miss it! "We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure…" Hebrews 6:19a
Women’s Bible Study
The Christian life is not always easy, but following Christ is worth the cost. He is better than anything this world can offer—a better Redeemer, Shepherd, and Ruler. Those who trust Him find fullness of joy now and forever. Join us this fall as we study Hebrews verse by verse, exploring the superiority of Christ. Author Lydia Brownback will guide us into the rich character of God and deep gospel truths, encouraging us to trust in the unshakable hope we have in Christ. Tuesdays at 9:15am or 6pm.
Gathering Table
The Gathering Table is an opportunity for the women of NCC to create deeper relationships with each other. Women will gather together once a month for a meal and fellowship. You will be grouped with others that have the same availability and have a chance to meet new people within the NCC church body. Group sizes are typically 5-6 women. After registration, a host will reach out to the group and each group will pick the dates they would like to meet together. Please email Women’s Ministry if you are interested in hosting! Registration will be open through August 23.
Bridge Kids registration is open for the 2026-27 season!
Bridge Kids is NCC’s weekly, Wednesday night discipleship program for kids! Each week is filled with fun, games, Bible learning, and Scripture memory.
Worship Ministry Involvement
Has God blessed you with musical or technical talents and passions? If so, the Northbridge Worship Ministry would like to hear from you! If you’re a musician or singer and enjoy participating with a team in leading worship songs, we encourage you to explore the ministry. We’re particularly in need of drummers! On the technical side of things, we have opportunities for mixing sound, running projection, and streaming video. We offer training for potential techs, and onboarding for less-experienced musicians. If interested, or for more info, please contact George Schweitzer at george@nbchurch.org.
Coffee Service Volunteers Needed
In order to continue providing great hospitality for Sunday mornings, we are in need of at least 4 other individuals/couples that are willing to help. We have several upcoming dates that we have been unable to fill. The goal is to have enough people where you would only need to serve once every 2 months. We also have made an improvement that allows us to break the work into two parts and reduce the need for the coffee team to be there early on Sunday. With the addition of wifi-enabled power plugs, we can have someone set up the coffee after the Saturday night service and then the pots automatically perk on Sunday morning so the coffee team would not need to arrive until 8:45am. If you are a Saturday night service attendee, we would love to have you help in that effort. If you are interested in helping, please email Tracy Bashore (tracy@bashore.net).
Church Doors
If you are leaving the church building after it has been locked, please take a moment to ensure the door has fully latched behind you. Sometimes the door appears to be closed but does not latch completely, leaving the building unsecured. Thank you for helping keep our church building safe and secure.
Lost and Found
Missing something? Check the Lost & Found basket in the church office. There are several Bibles, clothing items, and water bottles waiting to be claimed. Take a look—you might find what you've been missing!
Meal Ministry
If you or someone you know in our Northbridge Community family could benefit from receiving meals, please contact us at mealministry@nbchurch.org.
Timon and Courtney Higgins welcomed baby number three, Hannah, into their family. If you’d like to participate in a Meal Train for them, just click here.
