September 7, 2025, marked the day Northbridge Church and Berean Community Church officially became NORTHBRIDGE COMMUNITY CHURCH. We'll celebrate the first anniversary of our merger this Sunday, September 6. Join us as we look back at God’s faithfulness over the past twelve months. Plan to stay after the service for gourmet hotdogs.
Bridge Kids registration is open for the 2026-27 season!
Bridge Kids is NCC’s weekly, Wednesday night discipleship program for kids! Each week is filled with fun, games, Bible learning, and Scripture memory.
Parent Orientation: September 9
First Bridge Kids Club: September 16
Women’s Bible Study
The Christian life is not always easy, but following Christ is worth the cost. He is better than anything this world can offer—a better Redeemer, Shepherd, and Ruler. Those who trust Him find fullness of joy now and forever. Join us this fall as we study Hebrews verse by verse, exploring the superiority of Christ. Author Lydia Brownback will guide us into the rich character of God and deep gospel truths, encouraging us to trust in the unshakable hope we have in Christ. Tuesdays at 9:15am or 6pm.

Everyday Biblical Counseling
NCC will host an Everyday Biblical Counseling Conference on Saturday, October 17. The conference exists “to equip God’s people to grow in their skill and confidence as counselors in all aspects of life.” Join us for rich, biblical, practical teaching and conversations designed to strengthen your faith and the church in Rochester and beyond. If you are a spouse, parent, friend, neighbor, or co-worker, you are invited! Come learn how to make your everyday conversations full of wise, biblical counsel.
Healing Hearts Prayer Walk
Join us for a time of prayer for our community and our church - that God’s Word would go forth to touch and heal those who need it through the ministries of our church. Healing Hearts Ministries is sponsoring a “Stand with Me’ prayer walk through downtown Rochester on September 13, 4:00 - 6:00 pm. The walk will start and end at Roy Sutherland Playground (Soldier’s Field) and follow a 2-mile loop through downtown Rochester. This is a family friendly event. Staffing Update
Another update from the staffing team. We have a potential candidate for the Administration Pastor that will be visiting us this weekend. This initial visit is primarily for the search team, Elders, and staff to meet with him in person. If they decide to proceed, we'll invite him and his family back for a future visit to be introduced to the full NCC family. As noted last time, we are adjusting the Youth Pastor position into more of a Family Ministries role given the demographics or our congregation. I will be meeting next week with our search firm, LEAD222, to determine if they will continue to work with us given the job description change or if we will need to go a different direction. We will continue to provide updates as appropriate. As always, please continue to keep this process in your prayers and earnestly pray that God will give us discernment as we evaluate candidates.

Fall Food Service Help Needs
Fall is coming soon, which means that Bridge Kids will also be starting soon along with other meal opportunities. The Bridge Kids meal nights start on Wednesday, September 16. There is an BK open house on September 9 where we will serve shaved ice treats, so I need a couple helpers that night.
We have a Women's Brunch at 9am on Saturday, August 29th and would like to staff that all with men to let ladies just enjoy that event. There is a men's breakfast on Saturday, September 12 and we are also starting Saturday night meals again on Saturday, September 26.
I'm looking forward to working with you all again. Please let me know though if you are no longer able to help with kitchen and I will remove you from the list. Thanks.
