Mission Trip to Uganda
Please pray for the Cullen family and Leah Helgeson’s upcoming mission trip to Uganda, where they will focus on serving local youth through providing a Vacation Bible School program, repairs to the church basketball court, and delivering medical supplies. The group hopes to encourage the local church, share the love of Christ, and provide meaningful support to children and young people in the community. They ask for prayers, encouragement, and optional financial support through North Bridge Community Church’s Mission Donation Fund. Travel will be from November 19 - December 4.
As a part of their trip, the group will collect and bring bags of thoughtfully packed items for the children they will be ministering to through VBS.
To participate, visit the Bags of Blessings table in the lobby following the Sunday morning service beginning in October for supplies and information!
*Please note that bags need to be dropped off at the Bags of Blessings table in the lobby by Nov. 15!

Strategic Staffing Team Update
A few weeks ago we had a potential candidate visiting us for the Admin. Pastor role to meet with the elders and staff. Although he was a very good man with a heart for the Lord and the church, we didn't feel he brought the right level of leadership and administrative skills that this role requires. Ultimately, the elders decided not to proceed.
As we've mentioned in the past couple updates, we have also adjusted our Youth Pastor search to be more of a Family Ministries position. As such, the search firm we had been using has decided that this role is outside their wheelhouse and we've parted ways on very good terms.
Since we are "restarting" both searches, we decided it would be good to give the Strategic Staffing Team (SST) a bit of breather before we ramp up the efforts again. Come early Oct, we'll be reposting the positions and setting the wheels in motion again. Please be praying that God brings us the candidate that He has chosen for each of these roles and that the SST members can remain energized and effective until He is done with us. We trust God has some great things in store for our church family through this hiring process and we are anxious to experience it in His timing!
Sincerely,
Jeremy, Dan, Melissa, Karla, and Mark
Worship Ministry Involvement
Has God blessed you with musical or technical talents and passions? If so, the Northbridge Worship Ministry would like to hear from you! If you’re a musician or singer and enjoy participating with a team in leading worship songs, we encourage you to explore the ministry. We’re particularly in need of keyboardists and drummers! On the technical side of things, we have opportunities for mixing sound, running projection, and streaming video. We offer training for potential techs, and onboarding for musicians and singers. If interested, or for more info, please contact George Schweitzer at george@nbchurch.org.
ELDER NOMINATIONS
NCC is accepting nominations for new elders through September 30. A description of the qualifications and nomination process, along with nomination forms, is available at the Welcome Desk or online. Completed nomination forms may be placed in the nomination box in the church office. Envelopes are also available for your convenience.
If you would like to submit a nomination electronically, you can do so by clicking the button below.
Fall Food Service Help Needs
Fall is here, which means that Bridge Kids has started along with other meal opportunities. We are starting Saturday night meals again on Saturday, September 26.
I'm looking forward to working with you all again. Please let me know though if you are no longer able to help with kitchen and I will remove you from the list. Thanks.

Free Bibles and Books This Weekend
Free books are available for one more weekend for anyone who would like them! We are clearing the bookcases in the hallway outside the kitchen to make space for a new storage closet, so please feel free to browse and take whatever you can use. There is a wide variety of books by Christian authors as well as Bibles in various translations. Stop by this weekend and take home as many as you’d like!
Agape Service Assistance Ministry
If you have some work you need done but do not have the means or ability to do the project, NCC’s Agape Service Assistance Ministry volunteers may be able to help. We have volunteers that can possibly help with construction, outdoor work/landscaping, auto/small engine repair, technology, general work (i.e. moving, cleaning, painting). You can find more information here.
Meal Ministry
If you or someone you know in our Northbridge Community family could benefit from receiving meals, please contact us at mealministry@nbchurch.org.
We have added October meal dates for Gary and Gina Axtell. Thank you so much for your continued prayers and support. Take them a meal
