Serving at Northbridge

There are many ways to and serve at Northbridge Community Church. To get involved, simply click the button below to contact our church office and we will help get you connected or contact the ministry leaders through the volunteer button in the particular service areas below.

Children/Youth

  • Bridge Kids

    Wednesdays night, during the school year for nursery through 5th-grade students. If you are a parent or someone that is interested in reaching kids with the message of the gospel, join us as an Bridge Kids volunteer!

    For safety and accountability, two volunteers (middle school-aged and up) will serve together and at least one of them must be an adult. All adults (18 and older) must have a background check on file with the NCC office.

  • Children's Church

    Adult teachers and helpers are needed to serve on a rotating basis in Children’s Church during the Worship Service on Sundays. Training and materials are provided.

  • Nursery

    Provide a safe and loving environment for children age 2 and under while parents enjoy a time of teaching, fellowship and worship.

  • Youth Group

    Northbridge’s youth group meets every Sunday night from 5:30-7pm throughout the school year and at various days/times for other events. You can help influence youth from 6th grade to 12th grade in their faith and have lots of fun while doing it.

Adult Ministries

  • Men's Ministries

    The Men’s Ministry of NBCC exists to enable men to fulfill their purpose to glorify God and be Christ-like leaders in their homes and community.  We do this through Gather, Grow, and Go opportunities throughout the year, which are for all generations of men, whether seeking faith, new to faith, or mature in faith.

    If you would like to help with leading or in assisting with bible studies and events, we would love to hear from you.

  • Women's Ministries

    Our women’s ministry exists to fulfill the Great Commission by making disciples of women from all backgrounds and seasons of life - connecting them to their Creator, God and Savior by cultivating opportunities to grow in godly community.

Food Service/Hospitality

  • Food Service Team

    Be part of a fun team, providing fellowship through food for our church community. We provide meals for Wed night Bridge Kids weekly during the school year and then do meals for various other events throughout the year. No cooking skills are required as we have people who handle the head cooking.

  • Hospitality

    You can help provide a welcoming place for everyone attending worship on Sunday morning through our coffee/water service. We have opportunities to either set up the coffee on Saturday night or to finish setup and cleanup on Sunday morning.

Service Ministries

  • Agape Service Assistance Ministry

    If you would like help people within our congregation and community who have needs for home maintenance, outdoor work, auto/small engine maintenance, technology assistance or with general things like moving, painting or cleanup, this ministry is for you. This ministry is intended to serve those that are unable to do it themselves or do not have the means to hire out the work.

    You can sign up for the type of work you are willing to help with and then you will be notified as needs arise by clicking on the Volunteer button below.

  • Meals Ministry

    The Meals Ministry exists to help meet the meal needs of families within our congregation experiencing a challenging time in life due to childbirth, surgery, death in the family or other life-altering situations. If you like to cook and bless people through hospitality, this may be a great way to serve for you.

Worship Areas

  • Worship Music

    If you have musical skills and would like to serve on the worship team, then this would be a great area to serve.

  • Tech Team

    The tech team handles sound, the screen display during the service, and also video streaming/taping of the services and special events. If you do not have the skills but are willing to learn, you will be trained.

  • Greeter/Usher

    Greeters and ushers needed! No experience necessary, just a friendly smile and the willingness to help people feel welcome on Sunday mornings. Greeters and ushers serve on a monthly rotation.

  • Security

    The security team provides physical security during our weekend services, ministry events such as Bridge Kids, and special events. You will be fully trained on policies and procedures when you join the team.

  • Chair Team

    Chair volunteers reset the chairs in the sanctuary for our Saturday or Sunday services.

  • Communion Prep/Serving

    We partake of communion using on the first Saturday/Sunday of each month. If you would like to help in this important area, click on the button below.

Facilities

  • Facilities Maintenance

    If you are handy or have certain skills like hvac, electrical, plumbing, painting, or construction, you can help keep our building and property in great shape.

  • Mowing/Landscaping

    The mowing/landscaping team keeps our property looking beautiful and a welcoming part of the neighborhood. Mowing is on an as needed basis and you will have the opportunity to fill these needs as they arise.

  • Security

    The security team provides physical security during our weekend services, ministry events such as Bridge Kids, and special events. You will be fully trained on policies and procedures when you join the team.
