Bridge Kids - We Need You!

August 31 training for volunteers

Bridge Kids is getting ready for another exciting year, and we are SO excited for all that God is going to do!

Most importantly, please pray with us. Pray that the gospel would be at the center of everything we do, that every lesson, game, conversation, song, and interaction would ultimately point kids to Jesus and help them know His love and truth.

We’re grateful for every person who gives their time, energy, and heart to invest in the next generation. We need you, and we’re excited to serve together!

Let's make this a year where Jesus is the center of it all!

If you’re a current volunteer or you’ve been thinking about jumping in and serving with us this year, now is the time to register! We are especially in need of more helpers so that we can provide a safe, welcoming environment for every child who walks through our doors.

There will be training for all Bridge Kids volunteers on August 31 at 6:30pm. Contact Deidre Cullen with any questions.

Fall Food Service Help Needs

Fall is coming soon, which means that Bridge Kids will also be starting soon along with other meal opportunities. The Bridge Kids meal nights start on Wednesday, September 16 but there is an open house on September 9 where they would like shaved ice treats, so I need a couple helpers that night.

We have a Women's Brunch at 9am on Saturday, August 29th and would like to staff that all with men to let ladies just enjoy that event. There is a men's breakfast on Saturday, September 12 and we are also starting Saturday night meals again on Saturday, September 26.

I'm looking forward to working with you all again. Please let me know though if you are no longer able to help with kitchen and I will remove you from the list. Thanks.

Women’s Brunch

Join us as we kick off the ministry year with a brunch on August 29 from 9am-11am. Come to enjoy fellowship, worship, a fun breakfast bar, and testimonies about the unshakable hope we have in Christ! Don't miss it! "We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure…" Hebrews 6:19a

Gathering Table

The Gathering Table is an opportunity for the women of NCC to create deeper relationships with each other. Women will gather together once a month for a meal and fellowship. You will be grouped with others that have the same availability and will have a chance to meet new people within the NCC church body. Group sizes are typically 5-6 women. After registration, a host will reach out to the group and each group will pick the dates they would like to meet together. Please email Women’s Ministry if you are interested in hosting! Registration will be open through August 23.

Women’s Bible Study

The Christian life is not always easy, but following Christ is worth the cost. He is better than anything this world can offer—a better Redeemer, Shepherd, and Ruler. Those who trust Him find fullness of joy now and forever. Join us this fall as we study Hebrews verse by verse, exploring the superiority of Christ. Author Lydia Brownback will guide us into the rich character of God and deep gospel truths, encouraging us to trust in the unshakable hope we have in Christ. Tuesdays at 9:15am or 6pm.

Gathering photos of NCC's first year!

September 7, 2025, marked the day Northbridge Church and Berean Community Church officially became NORTHBRIDGE COMMUNITY CHURCH. We'll celebrate the first anniversary of our merger on Sunday, September 6, with special treats, a few words of celebration, and a photo montage highlighting the past year of ministry, fellowship, and God's faithfulness.

Help us tell the story! If you have photos from Northbridge activities, events, or gatherings over the past year, please submit them by August 21. That will give us time to include them in our anniversary video. You can upload your photos at this link: https://nbchurch.smugmug.com/upload/j96Sb4/firstyear

Men’s Fall Breakfast Kickoff

NCC’s men’s ministry will kick off the fall with a great breakfast, including homemade corn beef hash.  Plan to join us on September 12 at 8am to learn about the plan for men’s ministry this year along with having a great table discussion and some time for worship.

Men’s Bible Study - Hebrews

We will take 12 weeks to go through the book of Hebrews, meeting once a week, either Tuesdays at 6pm, starting September 15, or Fridays at 6am, starting September 11.

Everyday Biblical Counseling

NCC will host an Everyday Biblical Counseling Conference on Saturday, October 17. The conference exists “to equip God’s people to grow in their skill and confidence as counselors in all aspects of life.” Join us for rich, biblical, practical teaching and conversations designed to strengthen your faith and the church in Rochester and beyond. If you are a spouse, parent, friend, neighbor, or co-worker, you are invited! Come learn how to make your everyday conversations full of wise, biblical counsel.

Healing Hearts Prayer Walk

Join us for a time of prayer for our community and our church - that God’s Word would go forth to touch and heal those who need it through the ministries of our church. Healing Hearts Ministries is sponsoring a “Stand with Me’ prayer walk through downtown Rochester on September 13, 4:00 - 6:00 pm. The walk will start and end at Roy Sutherland Playground (Soldier’s Field) and follow a 2-mile loop through downtown Rochester. This is a family friendly event. Contact for questions: Julie Bashore, julieab@healinghearts.org or 507-261-9650.
