CURRENT NEWS

Update from the elders

In light of the many questions that have been asked about the administrative pastor and hiring process, the Elders have decided to pause the 6/7/26 congregational meeting. This will provide more time to explain the process that was used to gather information, our prayerful reflections on that information, and time for any further questions and feedback you may have before a potential vote of confirmation. Please email the Elders with questions or feedback so we can connect with you - elders@nbchurch.org

Kids Move Up Sunday

Our kids will be moving up in our children's church classroom this Sunday! We're excited for this next step where they'll grow and learn in spaces made just for them. Please see us at the check-in desk on Sunday if you have any questions.  Our classrooms are 3-years to PreK, K to 1st grade, and 2nd to 5th.

We're really looking forward to what God has in store for these kiddos in this season.  Thanks for letting us be a part of their journey.

In Christ, Deidre

Women’s and Men’s Ministries

Check out our Women’s and Men’s ministries pages for additional information on current and upcoming events, Bible studies, and on how to get involved.

Join Pastor Kevin and Paul Larsen for a memorable trip to Branson, MO, featuring the spectacular production of David at the Sight & Sound Theatre. This inspiring show brings the life of King David to the stage through powerful music, dramatic storytelling, and breathtaking visuals that will encourage and strengthen your faith.

This experience is designed to be far more than simply a getaway – it will be a meaningful time of fellowship, worship, and renewal. As we travel together by motorcoach, we hope to redeem our time through uplifting conversation, songs of worship, Scripture reflections, and opportunities to enjoy the beauty of God’s creation along the way.

Throughout the trip, we look forward to deepening existing friendships, building new connections, encouraging one another in faith, and creating lasting memories together. There will be opportunities for quiet rest and personal reflection, balanced with moments of joy, laughter, and shared experiences. On Sunday, we will gather for a special time of worship and reflection as we continue to grow together in faith and fellowship.

We would love for you to join us! Please take a moment to look over the graphic, check your calendars, and stay tuned for additional details and registration information coming soon!

SummerFest 2026 - July 11

SummerFest is coming up on July 11th from 5:00–7:30 PM. We’re planning a fun evening with games, a bouncy house, wagon rides, a complimentary dinner, and live music—but right now we still need more volunteers to help make the event possible.

One thing we want to share honestly: the amount of community advertising and outreach we do for SummerFest will depend on the number of volunteers we have available. The more people willing to serve, the greater our ability to welcome guests, build relationships, and connect with families in our community.

Whether you can help with setup, cleanup, activities, food, or simply being a welcoming presence, every role matters. Even helping for part of the evening makes a difference!

Sign up this week!
Knowing our volunteer numbers now will help us plan effectively and maximize our outreach opportunities. If you’re willing to serve, please sign up here as soon as possible: https://tinyurl.com/NCCFest

Thank you for helping us create a welcoming and hospitable event for both our church family and our guests!
