A message from NCC Elders

A Season of Gratitude, Growth, and Faith
We have much to thank God for. Over the past several months, the Lord has graciously brought two congregations together as one body, and we are witnessing the fruit of that unity each week. The sanctuary has been consistently full, voices lifted together in worship, and relationships forming across what were once separate church families. This is a gift from God, an earthly picture of Heaven, and we give Him all the glory!

At the same time, fullness brings responsibility. Scripture reminds us that we are stewards of what God entrusts to us—including the people He brings through our doors. As elders, we take seriously the responsibility to minister to those God entrusts us with each week.  As our Sunday morning services continue to reach capacity, we want to ensure that everyone who comes to Northbridge Community Church can worship, hear the Word, and experience the love of Christ in a meaningful way.

For that reason, the elders and leadership have been prayerfully discerning how best to accomplish that goal. With unity and care for the whole body, we are planning to pilot a Saturday evening service. This service is not about replacing Sunday worship, but about creating additional space so that we can continue to welcome those God is drawing to Himself without unnecessary barriers.  We believe this will provide us with valuable lessons as we look to the future when determining if and when we would add additional Sunday services. For your calendar and future planning, please know that we will have two services on Easter Sunday as our attendance typically increases by 20-30%.  

As we move forward, we ask our church family to continue walking together in love, patience, and unity. Seasons of growth always require flexibility, sacrifice, and grace—but they also provide opportunities to live out our calling to make disciples and love one another well.

The elders will be spending the day together at an upcoming strategic planning retreat. Please join us in praying for the plan and purpose God has for NCC to be made clear as we build His kingdom in this local body until He returns to claim it.

Thank you for your faithfulness, your unity, and your willingness to follow where the Lord is leading. We are excited to see how God will use this next step to further His kingdom among us.
